EXAMS WILL ONLY BE MADE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY DAMA. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SCHEDULE FOR AN EXAM FOR WHICH YOU HAVE NOT PAID, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THAT EXAM

First Timer - new to registering/ not a Central member yet

Step 1: Click on this URL to register for the exam: Register

Step 1: Login to the DAMAI Website

Step 2: If you are not a DAMAI Central/ Local Chapter member, select the DM Advanced/ Fundamentals Non-Member exam Step 2: Click on this URL to register for the exam: Register
Step 3: Complete the relevant details on the form and select Payment Type: PayPal and iATS both use credit/ debit cards (you do NOT have to have a PayPal account) Step 3: Select the exam you want to take; select the Payment Type and submit
Step 4: Once payment has been processed, an exam URL will be sent to you, together with a username and temporary password for the CDMP Exam site Step 4: Once payment has been processed, your CDMP Exam site user account will be enrolled for the new exam
Step 5: Log in to the site, change your temporary password and select "Schedule an Exam with ProctorU" Step 5: Login and Use the "Schedule an Exam with ProctorU" URL to schedule the exam date/time
Step 6: Register your details with ProctorU (please note that you will need a webcam as you are required to take your photo as part of your ProctorU profile) and schedule your exam date/ time. Please take time when you schedule to check your equipment will work on the day! Step 7: Approximately 30 minutes prior to the scheduled date/ time log in to ProctorU and the CDMP Exams website - Be prepared to provide proof of your identity as well as allow the proctor to view the room you are in and check your PC ...
Step 8: The proctor allocated to you will run through all the relevant steps to ensure that your PC is working; you are who you say you are and that you are ready for the exam. They will require access to your PC as they run a number of tests and confirmations. If this is an issue for you, please advise us directly at cdmp@dama.org as this will mean you can only do a face-to-face proctoring session which will only be available through local chapters and at certain conferences/events. Do not register for the exam at this stage if you cannot allow the proctor access to your PC

Step 9: What do you need for the exam day?

  • A PC (Mac or Windows) with a Webcam, Internet Connection and a Browser (IE, FireFox, Safari, Chrome)
  • Photo Proof of Identification (clear photo's please)
  • Quiet room with no books or material lying around (you may have a pen/ pencil with a couple of pages of clear paper for any notes)
  • You may not use a headset during the exam
  • Please ensure you have water/ refreshments with you and that you have visited the bathroom - the proctor will not allow you to leave the room during the exam period
Step 10: The proctor will ensure you are ready and will take control of your PC to enter the exam password. You have 90 minutes to complete 100 questions. Once the time is up, the exam will automatically be marked. If you are complete before the 90 minutes is up, you may review your answers or proceed to "Finish Attempt". Once you have submitted your answers, you will not be allowed to change any, nor will you be provided with details on any wrong or right answers. The results of your exam will be displayed on the page after submission as well as in the bottom left hand corner
Step 11: Disconnect from both the exam site and the ProctorU site. Please note your login for the exam site will be disabled after the exam has been completed
Step 12: DAMAI receives notifcation of your exam attempt and will provide you with an exam profile - detailing where your strengths and weaknesses are. If you are complete on your CDMP Level, and DAMAI has reviewed your CV and exam results satisfactorily, a CDMP Certificate will be sent to you. If you are still in the process, go to the top of the page and register for the next exam
