Next DAMA BeLuX Event :  Full-day conference, Wednesday, 26 November 2008

Our next event will be our annual conference, on Wednesday, 26 November (location to be confirmed in early November). 

This will include "plenary" sessions in the morning, lunch, and three different "tracks" in the afternoon.  The agenda will be:

  9:00 to 9:30 :     Welcome and Registration

  9:30 to 10:45 :   Trends in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence

                               Mr. Bert Oosterhout, Corporate Senior Architect and Director of Technology EMEA, Informatica

  10:45 to 11:15 :  Break

  11:15 to 12:30 :  Data Modelling and Business Rules

                                Professor Dr. Jan Vanthienen, Faculty of Business and Economics, Department of 

                                  Decision Sciences and Information Management, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven

  12:30 to 13:30 : Lunch

  13:30 to 17:00 : Three different "tracks", with 2 presentations per track :

                                  Data Governance

                                  Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence

                                  Information Architecture

  17:00 to 18:00 :  Reception and networking drink

Past events

Our event on June 12th, which featured an afternoon with John Zachman, was very successful, with over 75 participants.  We would like to welcome all new members who joined for this event, and look forward to your active participation in the future.  Special thanks also go to GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals in Wavre, for their generosity in hosting this event and helping with the organisation.
