SOA is a current buzzword and it represents a tremendous challenge. As some say "Everything must become SOA." This of course represents a tremendous challenge to organizations. This session explores the SOA implications from a data quality perspective. Service Oriented Architecture is here for the foreseeable future.

Speaker Biography:

Peter Aiken is the founder of Data Blueprint and is a Research Director, Information Systems Research Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University. His books include "Data Reverse Engineering", "Building Corporate Portals Using XML". He's written articles for DM Review, Communications of the ACM, IBM Systems Journal. Peter is a popular and frequent speaker at Enterprise Data World and DAMA Symposium and Wilshire Meta-Data Conference. When not consulting, he teaches graduate courses at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Cost:

$25 for non-members (cash or check at the meeting); free for members; includes dinner of pasta and salad.

If you do preregister and discover you won't be able to attend, please let us know in the same fashion. While we can accept people at the door and late preregistrations, without a preregistration by the cutoff time we can't guarantee you a meal.
